Why choose a Self-Adhesive Slat Wall Panel for your gym?

Not every wall needs a full refurbishment to change the way a space feels. When the surface is smooth and in good condition, the Self-Adhesive Slat Wall Panel adds texture and finish to receptions, corridors or social areas without building a substructure or applying extra adhesive.

The roll format also gives you the freedom to cover a full wall or work on just a strip, a counter backdrop or a branding area, keeping the intervention in proportion with the project.

Refresh the wall without turning the gym into a building site

Installation follows a simple process: prepare the surface, mark the alignment, cut the panel to size and peel away the backing as you press it onto the wall.

Because the adhesive is already built in, there is no glue to prepare. For a good result, the wall still needs to be dry, clean, even and free from dust or loose paint.

Four finishes to work with the identity of the space

Black/Brown and Brown create a stronger visual presence when you want to highlight a reception wall or frame a logo. Black/Light Brown and Beige/Light Brown keep the slatted effect with a lighter, more natural look.

This means the slatted finish can create contrast in a darker gym or provide visual continuity in a studio, hotel or wellness area with a lighter interior scheme.

Texture that helps disguise small imperfections

At 10 mm thick with an EVA base, the panel adds relief to the wall and helps disguise small visual irregularities in the surface. The material can also contribute to a more acoustically comfortable environment, without being a technical acoustic panel.

The PVC surface makes day-to-day maintenance easier. Clean it with a damp cotton cloth and pH-neutral detergent, and avoid abrasive products or sponges.

Self-Adhesive Slat Wall Panel or EPS Slat Wall Panel?

Both products create a slatted wall effect, but the right choice depends mainly on the existing surface, the format and the installation method.

Installation and maintenance of Self-Adhesive Slat Wall Panel in a Roll

The surface must be clean, dry, even and free from dust, loose paint or particles that could reduce adhesion. Sand and clean the wall before you start installation.

Smooth walls painted with acrylic paint, plasterboard, smooth timber, wood panels and non-lacquered furniture, provided the surface has been properly prepared.

We do not recommend direct application to tiles, rough or textured walls, lacquered or varnished furniture, or walls affected by damp or mould. Washable, waterproof or very glossy paints may also provide poor adhesion and require additional preparation.

First mark a guide line to keep the slats aligned. Measure and cut the panel, peel back around 10 cm of the protective backing and fix the first section. Then remove the backing gradually while pressing from top to bottom. Butt the next panel against the previous one without leaving a gap.

Yes. Because the material is supplied in a roll, cut pieces may retain a slight curve. Leave them to rest before installation and, if necessary, place a weight on top to help flatten them.

Do not roll the panel with the finished face turned inwards and avoid folding it at tight angles. Creases or folds can damage the finish and affect the final result.

The material is moisture resistant, but that does not mean it can be applied to a damp wall. The substrate must be dry and free from leaks or mould before installation.

Use a damp cotton cloth with pH-neutral detergent. Avoid abrasive products, rough sponges or brushes that could scratch or damage the surface.

No. Although the technical data sheet states UV resistance, the product has been developed for indoor use and should be protected from direct exposure to rain, wind and outdoor conditions.

At edges or transitions, you can use a self-adhesive finishing strip to create a cleaner, more aligned finish.
