The artificial turf should be cut from the backing (black surface). To do so, turn it upside down and cut it directly on the black backing surface.

It can be installed on loose surfaces (e.g. earth) or solid surfaces (e.g. cement), provided they are clean, dry and as flat as possible. See our installation manual for all the details.

Yes, mainly for solid surfaces. Without such a system, it will be difficult to drain the accumulated water, especially in winter.

No. The backing of the turf prevents the passage of light. Without light, weeds cannot grow. If you add an anti-weed mesh, you will double the work and increase costs.
