Quality and Guarantee for CUSTOMERS

Geometrik only sells high-quality products. It does not sell second-hand, defective or below-standard products.

All the stipulations in this section, including the length of the guarantee and the deadline for lodging a complaint, are only applicable to customers categorised as general customers under the applicable legislation. You must check the General Customer and Professional Customer section to understand the distinction. If you do not fit the definition of General Customer, you must consult the “Quality and Guarantee for PROFESSIONAL CUSTOMERS” section.

All the products sold by us and which are sold to  general customers come with a legal guarantee that covers any non-compliance that appears within a period of 3 (three) years counting from the delivery of the product. Non-compliance that becomes apparent within two years of the delivery date of the product presumes the defect was present on the delivery date, apart from when this is incompatible with the nature of the products or the characteristics of the non-compliance. After this deadline has passed, the general customer must provide proof that the non-compliance existed on the delivery date of the product.

The quantities must be checked when the order is received. If there is a difference in the number of units ordered and the number of units delivered, this must be written on the delivery receipt and immediately communicated to Geometrik.

Non-compliance does not take place when, at the moment the contract is signed, the general customer has been unequivocally informed that a particular characteristic of the product differs from the legal compliance requirements and the customer has separately, expressly and unequivocally accepted this discrepancy.

If the product acquired by a customer is not in compliance, the situation must immediately be communicated to Geometrik’s Customer Support Service, providing the following information:

I. the order number;

II. the date on which the situation was detected;

III. the description of the non-conformity, or the defect or lack of quality guaranteed or necessary for the intended purpose of the product.

 

Quality and Guarantee for PROFESSIONAL CUSTOMERS

All the stipulations in this section, including the length of the guarantee and the deadline for lodging a complaint are only applicable to those categorised as Professional Customers under the applicable legislation. You must check the General Customer and Professional Customer section to understand the distinction. If you do not fit the definition of Professional Customer, you must consult the “Quality and Guarantee for GENERAL CUSTOMERS” section.

The quantities must be checked when the order is received, and if there is a difference in the number of units ordered and the number of units delivered, this must be written on the delivery receipt and immediately communicated to Geometrik.

If the product acquired by a Professional Customer has a defect that devalues it or prevents it from being used for the intended purpose, or it is not of the quality guaranteed or necessary for the intended purpose, the Professional Customer must inform Geometrik’s Customer Support Service within thirty days of learning about the defect and within six months of its delivery, providing the following information:

I. the order number;

II. the date on which the situation was detected;

III. the description of the defect or lack of quality guaranteed or necessary for the intended purpose of the product.
